2019 Tenacity Marathon Team Acceptance
Tenacity Marathon Team Invitation Acceptance
By submitting this form, you are accepting a position as a charity runner on Tenacity’s 2019 Boston Marathon Team. Tenacity, Inc. will charge your credit card a $100 team fee to offset the cost of our training program and other expenses. This $100 payment will not be applied to your fundraising commitment. This payment is non-refundable except in certain circumstances.
In early February you will be responsible for paying the $365 race entry fee directly to the Boston Athletic Association.
After submitting this form, Tenacity will email you the 2019 Tenacity Marathon Team Contract Agreement that you will sign, copy for your records, and send back to us. After we receive and process your signed 2019 Tenacity Marathon Team Contract Agreement, your position on the team is secured.
A minimum fundraising commitment of $7,000 is required to be accepted onto the Tenacity Boston Marathon Official Charity Program team. The minimum fundraising requirement of $7,000 is due on or before April 1, 2019. The balance of your stated fundraising goal (the amount above the $7,000) is due on or before April 20, 2019. Tenacity will continue to accept donations after April 20, 2019. You will be reminded of these goals during the course of the year.
Every runner who is accepted onto the team must provide a valid credit card to participate. Credit card information will be collected upon set up of a personal fundraising page through CrowdRise. The Tenacity Marathon Team requires that all team members use Crowdrise as their primary online donation platform. You’ll have until April 1, 2019 to reach the minimum $7,000 fundraising commitment. If you’re not able to reach the minimum commitment by that time, your credit card will be charged the difference.
Tenacity will inform you of the details of the B.A.A. registration process after your application has been reviewed and accepted. Of note, the B.A.A. charges a $365.00 race entry fee for all invitational entrants. Please do not contact the B.A.A. regarding registration.
Your Release and Contribution Agreement

I understand that by submitting this agreement to Tenacity, Inc., I am giving permission to charge my credit card any balance owed on the minimum $7,000 fundraising commitment on April 2, 2019. I declare that I have exercised my own judgment in signing this agreement, and I further declare that the decision to sign this agreement was voluntary and not based on or influenced by any representative of Tenacity.
