“Tenacity has been a wonderful experience for my students. They truly enjoy working with the staff to learn more about the sport of tennis. It also builds a sense of community and has helped my students work together as a team. They have clearly brought the skills that they have learned on the tennis court into the classroom, and it has helped them immensely as they take on the academic challenges throughout the school day.”
Tenacity has extended the Pathway to Post-Secondary Success to include elementary grades with our Elementary Program (EP). Tennis is a sport that gets kids moving, improves balance, agility and hand-eye coordination, and can teach self-confidence and self-assurance.
Tenacity tennis instructors run tennis clinics at least once a month during the school day for over 500 4th and 5th graders at six BPS schools. The goal of the program is to build a recruitment pool of candidates for Tenacity’s Middle School Academy (MSA) while providing valuable lessons in self-control and sportsmanship.
“Tenacity is the best program because of the activities and they teach you a lot about tennis. When I first started tenacity I was bad but the coolest coach taught me and now I know how to play! Thanks Tenacity!”
“Tenacity is the best program to learn tennis. It has fun games like King of the Court. I feel that Tenacity teaches you a great deal of tennis, and at the same time you get to experience what talent you have.”
“Tenacity is the best thing I’ve done because you can learn more about teamwork. You learn how to play games. You work together as a team to be good.”
