Hello Tenacity Families and Students!
Happy Friday! I hope everyone has enjoyed the warmer weather and sunlight, and that all are safe and healthy! I wanted to provide you with a few important announcements and updates as we head into the weekend.
Lunch Drop-In Today
Today the Frederick Tenacity staff will be hosting a lunch drop-in from 12-1pm. This is right in between elective and PRIDE time on students virtual schedules, so all students should be free to make it! Please come drop-in to say hello, and use the link that was included in the email version of this update.
Students! We miss you so please virtually join us and say hi!
Online Classes
This week was the first week of Phase 2 of virtual learning for students. The core classes (ELA, Science, Math, and Civics/Social Studies) each have one 1hr virtual class that takes place at 1pm. Electives are held once a week in the morning at 11 am. All students will have received email from their teachers letting them know what day they have which class, but in order to be marked as present they must attend!
Tennis Racket Drop-Off
Mr. Paxton was able to get into the school on Wednesday to pick-up some tennis equipment and supplies. If you left your personal racket at the school, or you would like some tennis balls and a tennis racket to practice please reach out to us and Mr. Paxton will set up a time to drop off supplies for you. We are still posting new literacy and tennis content weekly so students please follow us at @tenacityfrederick, check your Edmodo accounts for book club, and read your emails! We would love to hear from all of you!
New Facemask Requirement
Effective Wednesday May 8th, everyone in the state of Massachusetts must wear a facemask or something that covers their nose and mouth when they are in public. People who are not wearing any protection to cover their face can receive a fine up to $300. Make sure you cover up!
That is all for today, as always stay healthy and safe and reach out to us if you need anything!
