The Tenacity 20th anniversary celebration took place on November 1, 2018 in the beautiful School Committee Meeting Room at the Bruce C. Bolling Municipal Building was a special that brought together faces from many phases in the evolution of Tenacity over the past 20 years.
Special thanks go out to Rahn Dorsey, Chief of Education for the City of Boston, for his inspirational remarks and sharing the City’s vision for education and learning.
We also want to thank our student panelists Jason Mejia, Jameel Radcliffe, Kimberly Salazar, Jordi Baez, Danielle Santos, and Victoria Acuna for helping bring the Pathway to life through their thoughts and stories.
And finally, we want to thank our partner school panelists Dr. Claudia Gutierrez, Principal, Mario Umana Academy, Katie Grassa, Principal, Curley K-8 School, and Hai Son, Assistant Principal, Lilla G. Frederick Pilot Middle School for highlighting how Tenacity positively impacts their school communities and for their passionate support.
As we plan the next 20 years of successful student learning and personal growth, we’re taking a hard look at the need to support students and neighborhoods with:
> Financial Literacy
> More Spaces for Safe Learning, Play, Convening
> On-Line Learning Solutions
> Mentoring & Networking Solutions
We invite you to chat with us. We want to hear your thoughts on these opportunities and more. Let’s build solutions together.
