Hey Tenacity Post-Secondary Students!

Starting today, Tenacity’s PSS Team will be sending you an email newsletter with announcements, reminders, opportunities, and ideas for surviving your academic year from home.

Announcements

New Addition to the CP/PSS Team: We’re excited to announce that Alexandra Maiorino has joined our CP/PSS Team! Alex will be working closely with 12th Graders AND first-year post-secondary students. Expect to see and/or hear from her in the coming weeks.

Reminders

PSS Presents: Spring is in the Air Zoom Party: Normally, Tenacity’s PSS team would prepare and send care packages to those of you studying hard for your final exams. While the stay-at-home order has put a halt on this plan, we haven’t forgotten about you! In lieu of care packages, Tenacity’s PSS team will be hosting a party on Zoom on Friday, May 8, 2020  from 5:00pm – 6:00pm. During this event, we will be hosting games and awarding prizes to the winners. Take a break from all your hard work and join us!

Motivate Me Mondays: Every Monday, Tenacity will post a short motivational video message from a PSS student or member of the Tenacity community on our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. If you would like to post a video to share, please contact Kassy.

Fix My Resume Fridays: Every Friday, you can have your resume reviewed for constructive feedback and suggestions. Just email your resume to kisandraayanbeku@tenacity.org with the subject line, “Fix My Resume Fridays” along with your name. Extra points if you tell us the job, internship, or other application you’ll use it for in the body of your email. Once your resume is received, you will be contacted to have a 1 on 1 to go over the suggestions and feedback.
